Extended Spring Term 2024
What makes Pathfinder different?
Pathfinder Costa Rica uses a three prong approach to differentiate from the average study abroad program. By traveling and living abroad, you will be able to identify unhealthy life patterns and most importantly, get guidance on how to create new habits and stick to them. Cross-cultural immersion leads to more complex mindsets, increased creativity, and mental resilience. The Path-Finding Guidance Model, "Sustainable Lifestyles: 9 dimensions of healthy living" course, and the Adventure Excursions have been designed to create space for self-care, self-exploration, and self-discovery. These three features work in tandem to create a study abroad experience with intention.
-
Meet with a life coach weekly as a cohort to process and reflect on your experiences.
-
Learn about yourself and how you can steer your life effectively by taking the Sustainable Lifestyles course.
-
Find clarity and explore the natural beauty of Costa Rica on our included adventure excursions to Arenal Volcano and Manuel Antonio National Park.
Our study abroad program stands out with a customized approach that balances academic excellence with cultural immersion, supported by comprehensive resources and personalized attention for a truly transformational experience.
