Learning Spanish in Costa Rica:

Costa Rica is a Spanish-speaking country, and learning Spanish here is an excellent opportunity to improve your language skills in an immersive environment. At Pathfinder Costa Rica, we offer informal Spanish classes taught by experienced language teachers. These classes are tailored to the individual needs of each participant, allowing them to focus on their specific language goals, whether it's improving conversation skills, grammar, or vocabulary.

Homestay Accommodation:

To further immerse participants in the Spanish language and culture, we provide homestay accommodation with local families. Living with a Costa Rican family offers a unique opportunity to practice speaking Spanish outside of the classroom and experience the local way of life. Host families are carefully selected to ensure that participants feel comfortable and safe while also providing them with the opportunity to practice their Spanish in a supportive environment.

Internships and Service Work:

Internships and service work are a great way to put language skills into practice in a real-world setting. Our program offers internships and service work opportunities, allowing participants to work alongside locals while improving their Spanish language skills. Participants will have the chance to gain valuable work experience, make connections, and give back to the community.

While learning Spanish is an added benefit of the program, we also believe that it's important to explore and experience the beauty and culture of Costa Rica. That's why we offer excursions to some of the most beautiful places in the country, such as Manuel Antonio National Park, Arenal Volcano, and Monteverde Cloud Forest. These excursions provide a chance to practice Spanish outside of the classroom and learn about the country's history, culture, and natural beauty.

In conclusion, learning Spanish with Pathfinder Costa Rica offers an immersive and unique experience that combines language classes, homestay accommodation, internships and service work, and excursions throughout the country. Participants will not only improve their Spanish language skills but also gain valuable work experience, cultural knowledge, and memories that will last a lifetime. Join us for an unforgettable gap year experience in Costa Rica!
